eSIM Compatibility Checker
Verify if your smartphone supports modern eSIM technology.
What is eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a physical card, you download a carrier profile directly. You can switch carriers, add travel data plans, or use multiple numbers — all without swapping cards.
Which phones support eSIM in 2026?
Almost all flagship phones released after 2020 support eSIM. Apple led the charge with iPhone XS in 2018 — every iPhone since supports it. Samsung Galaxy S20+ and newer, Google Pixel 2+ and newer, Xiaomi 12T Pro+, OnePlus 12+, and many more. Our database covers 191+ models from 11 major brands.
How to check manually
iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM. If visible, your phone supports eSIM.
Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM. Or dial *#06# — if an EID number appears, you have eSIM hardware.
eSIM-only phones
iPhone 14 (US models) and later are eSIM-only — they have no physical SIM slot at all. The Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 9 series also dropped the physical SIM tray in some markets. This trend is expected to continue as carriers worldwide adopt eSIM.
